We’re announced a pair of outdoor concerts this summer that aim to satisfy the festival experience everyone has been missing.

In New Brunswick, we’ve teamed up with Pocologan Productions to host An Evening at the Drive-In – a unique, open-air live concert at the Sussex Drive-In on August 28 featuring performances by The Olympic SymphoniumQuinn Bonnell, and Jerry-Faye. Aiming to deliver a classic folk festival experience, this special show is unlike any other hosted at the drive-in this summer. In addition to watching from their car, relaxed COVID-19 measures allow the audience to enjoy the show from lawn-chairs and picnic blankets outside of their vehicle. The entertainment will be easy to see on the four-storey projection screen, and the audio will be amplified from a large PA system rather than through the drive-in’s FM transmitter. Staff will be on site to help patrons follow the latest social distancing guidelines as set by the Government of New Brunswick and attendees are encouraged to stay overnight with tent camping available in the field beside the stage or at the Sussex Campground & RV Park next door.

In Nova Scotia, the Grace Jollymore Joyce is presenting the TataFest MASKerade – a weekend of all-ages music, community, and polite distance as a reply to the COVID era. They’ll be featuring Jennah Barry and The Olympic Symphonium on the Saturday while Mike Trask and Devarrow perform on Friday. Don your wildest mask and listen to music taking place outside on the Senator’s Stage with gates opening at 5:30 each evening and performances starting at 7:00.
