'Yearner' is a new standalone single from composer Joshua Van Tassel and features processed drums, ondea, Afie Jurvanen (Bahamas) on bass, Joseph Shabason on woodwinds, and Rose Cousins on wordless vocals.

"The piece lurches through feelings of loss, yearning, memory and beauty.” explains Van Tassel.

The artwork came in collaboration with Toronto photographer Wade Muir, the artist behind the cover of Van Tassel's 2023 LP The Recently Beautiful, who selected the image after hearing the piece from a series of photos of his late mother.
