Gypsophilia will release their fourth album, Night Swimming, to Halifax audiences with a three show residency at The Company House (2202 Gottingen St.) on June 6th & 7th, 2015.Night Swimming was recorded at Joel Plaskett’s New Scotland Yard Studio in Dartmouth, NS and produced by Toronto-based Joshua Van Tassel (David Myles, Great Lake Swimmers, Amelia Curran). Departing from the purely live approach of their previous discs, the result is a hauntingly beautiful 9-song masterpiece that showcases a darker, cinematic side of Gypsophilia alongside their signature ebullient swinging sound.

Listen to ‘Boo Doo Down’
, a song that evokes a “futuristic dancehall from a wine-soaked alternate past” (says producer JVT)
