Hi everyone,

We are now officially home and recovered from our time on tour – thanks to everyone who helped us along the way. It was good fun and felt like a massive success!

So now we are ready to hit Halifax with TWO album release shows in the next week: Our Masquerade Dance Party at the Seahorse on Friday the 28th of October – w/ The Smokin’ Contra Band and DJ Regalia – (Come in disguise, music starts at 10:30 pm) and then our Album Release Concert at the Carleton on Tuesday the 1st of November (come for dinner, music starts at 9 pm). It is going to be fun to finally celebrate the release of Constellation here at home. We’ll have both vinyl LPs as well as CDs for sale at the shows. For advanced tickets to the Carleton show you can call 902 423 6335 and for the Seahorse Masquerade you can buy tickets on-line here: http://bit.ly/vXGFEy

Have a look at the video of us performing at Caplansky’s Deli on College St. in Toronto – http://www.southernsouls.ca/gypsophilia/ Since food and music are the two most important parts of touring (in that order) it was nice to bring them both together like this. Thanks to the Deli staff who were generous enough to let us occupy a table in the corner during the lunch rush while we played our tune “Montral”. Naturally, we stayed for sandwiches after. Thanks to Mitch from Southern Souls for filming it. If you like, you can check out a bunch of the other nice videos he has made by going to his website www.southernsouls.ca

Speaking of websites, we also have reinvented our own website to match the new album art. Thanks are due to the talented Mr. Mat Dunlap. Have a look and see the upgrade for yourself – www.gypsophilia.org

That is all for now. Hope to see you soon,

Ross
